Product Description
The HVS-5Z Computerized Auto Turret Vickers Hardness Tester integrates advanced optical design, stable loading control, computer-assisted measurement, and a fully motorized turret mechanism. Through soft-key operation, users can select Vickers or Knoop hardness, adjust illumination, set dwell time, and enter diagonal values directly. The system automatically calculates hardness without manual lookup tables. When equipped with a CCD imaging module, indentations can be viewed and measured directly on-screen using the software, which also supports multi-point testing, hardness–depth curve plotting, image storage, and automated reporting. The die-cast aluminum frame ensures rigidity and durability, making the HVS-5Z suitable for microhardness testing in metals, coatings, thin materials, heat-treated layers, and microstructures.

Product Advantages
Optical system engineered by senior optical designers ensures clear, stable images and can function as a simple microscope; brightness is adjustable for comfortable long-term viewing.
Industrial display panel shows hardness values, converted hardness, test method, force level, dwell time, measurement count, and test progress.
Integrated die-cast aluminum body provides excellent stability, deformation resistance, and long-term durability with automotive-grade surface finishing.
Manufacturer guarantees long-term spare-parts availability and lifetime maintenance service.
Motorized turret automatically switches between observation, testing, and measurement positions, significantly improving operational efficiency.
Software Features
Hardness–depth curve plotting with support for storing multiple preset template points.
Hardness conversion, correction, and validity check; curvature correction supported for cylindrical or spherical specimens.
Statistical tools including mean, variance, Cp, Cpk values.
Automatically highlights values exceeding upper or lower limits.
Generates WORD or EXCEL reports, including hardness values, statistics, indentation images, and hardness–depth curves; supports user-defined formats.
Stores original images and processed images together in a unified document.
Supports Knoop hardness testing mode and fracture toughness evaluation.
Provides image capture, video acquisition, geometric measurement, annotation, image processing, curve plotting, and fixed-scale printing.

Applications
Metals, non-ferrous alloys, foils, thin sheets, hard alloys, coatings, heat-treated layers, nitrided/carburized/decarburized layers, ceramics, glass, microstructures, wafers, and carbonized materials.
