Product Description
The CHV-5Z Vickers Hardness Tester is an integrated optical, mechanical, and electronic system designed to deliver accurate and stable Vickers hardness measurements. With a closed-loop loading structure, high-definition optical system, dual-channel imaging, adjustable lighting, and automatic turret switching, it provides exceptional precision and efficiency. The digital panel allows direct input of indentation length and instantly calculates hardness values. The cast-aluminum frame ensures long-term rigidity and resistance to deformation, making CHV-5Z suitable for metals, coatings, hardened layers, thin materials, microstructures, and brittle non-metallic materials such as ceramics and glass.

Product Advantages
High-grade optical design provides bright, sharp imaging and supports microstructure observation with adjustable brightness.
Industrial-grade display shows 4-digit hardness value, diagonal lengths (D1/D2), dwell time (1–99 s), applied force, measurement count, and conversion scales.
Cast-aluminum body with scratch-resistant coating ensures dimensional stability and durability for long-term laboratory use.
Automatic turret switching enables quick transitions between observation, testing, and measurement, improving operational efficiency.
Closed-loop loading system ensures accurate test forces from HV0.1 to HV5, improving repeatability and reducing variation.
Dual optical channels (eyepiece + CCD) allow real-time viewing and digital imaging without changing optical paths.
Measurement accuracy supported by 0.25 μm optical resolution and a 200 μm measurement range.
Application Range
Steel, non-ferrous metal, foil, thin sheet, microstructure analysis
Carburized, nitrided, decarburized, and hardened layers
Electroplating layers, thin coatings, heat-treated parts
Glass, wafers, ceramics, hard brittle materials
