Product Description
The CHV-30 Vickers Hardness Tester is a high-precision optical–mechanical–electronic integrated system featuring a closed-loop loading structure for stable and accurate test forces. It incorporates a high-magnification optical system, dual optical channels, adjustable brightness, and a clear digital display. The instrument allows direct input of indentation diagonal length through the keypad, automatically calculating and displaying the hardness value. With a solid cast-aluminum body, scratch-resistant finish, and ergonomic operation, the CHV-30 is ideal for metals, hardened layers, thin plates, carbonized structures, coatings, and brittle materials such as ceramics and glass.

Product Advantages
High-grade optical system designed by professional optical engineers provides bright, sharp images and can also be used as a simple microscope; brightness is adjustable for long sessions.
Industrial LCD panel displays hardness values (four digits), diagonal lengths (D1/D2), test force, dwell time (1–98 s), count, converted scales, and brightness levels.
Cast-aluminum housing formed in one piece ensures rigidity, long-term dimensional stability, and excellent scratch resistance.
Manual turret switching enables rapid transition between observation, indentation, and measurement, allowing efficient workflow control.
Closed-loop loading ensures force accuracy across HV0.2–HV30 levels, reducing operator influence and improving repeatability.
Dual optical channels (eyepiece + CCD) provide simultaneous viewing and digital capture without changing optical paths.
Measurement precision supported by 0.5 μm resolution and a 400 μm measuring range, suitable for micro-indentation and thin-layer hardness evaluation.
Application Range
Steel, non-ferrous metals, metal foil, thin plates, microstructure analysis
Carburized, nitrided, decarburized and hardened layers
