Product Description
The HV-30Z Automatic Turret Vickers Hardness Tester is an advanced opto-mechanical hardness testing instrument designed for precise, repeatable Vickers and Knoop measurements. It features a fully automatic turret that performs switching between observation, indentation and measuring positions without manual adjustment. This automated operation reduces human error and ensures stable alignment during testing. Its optical system, designed by senior optical engineers, provides high clarity under 100× and 200× magnification, and the adjustable light source enhances visibility across different materials.
The unit integrates computer-controlled loading, dwell and unloading cycles, and supports six selectable test forces from 1 to 30 kgf. With a hardness range of 5–3000 HV and a measurement resolution of 0.5–1 μm, the HV-30Z is suitable for metals, heat-treated layers, coatings, ceramics, wafers and carbides. The industrial display clearly shows hardness value, diagonal length, force level, dwell time and test count, improving measurement efficiency and data traceability. The cast aluminum body, finished with automotive-grade coating, ensures long-term structural stability and scratch resistance, making the instrument durable for continuous laboratory use.

Product Advantages
Automatic turret switching completes observation–testing–measuring transitions with high alignment accuracy and reduced manual intervention.
Dual optical channels (eyepiece + CCD port) support clear imaging and digital recording, offering 0.5–1 μm measurement resolution.
Industrial display shows hardness value, conversion scale, force, dwell time and test count directly, enabling more intuitive operation.
Cast-aluminum body with integrated molding provides high rigidity, stability and resistance to deformation and scratching.
Manufacturer-equipped in-house R&D and machining allow lifetime parts supply and long-term service support.
Six selectable forces (1–30 kgf) support hardness testing across steel, alloys, coatings, carbide layers and brittle materials.
Optional XY stage (25×25 mm travel, 0.01 mm reading) allows multi-point mapping and fine microstructure hardness analysis.
