Product Description
The HV-10 Computerized Vickers Hardness Tester is a modern optical–mechanical–electrical integrated hardness testing system designed for high stability and repeatability. It features computer-programmed operation, an optical measurement system, and soft-key input for selecting Vickers or Knoop hardness, adjusting illumination, and setting dwell time. Diagonal lengths are input directly through the panel, and the hardness value is displayed immediately without manual table lookup. When equipped with the optional CCD measurement system, the tester allows direct indentation observation on a monitor, mouse-based measurement, multi-point data acquisition, hardness–depth curve plotting, and report generation. This model is suitable for metals, microstructures, coatings, heat-treatment layers, and precision surface analysis.

Product Advantages
Optical system designed by senior optical engineers provides clear images and can function as a simple microscope. Adjustable brightness ensures comfortable long-term observation.
Industrial display clearly shows hardness values, converted hardness, test method, test force, dwell time, measurement count, and testing progress.
One-piece die-cast aluminum body offers structural stability and deformation resistance with automotive-grade paint for high durability.
Manufacturer provides independent R&D capabilities and lifetime maintenance with continuous spare-parts supply.
Software Features
Hardness-depth curve: software automatically plots the hardened depth curve based on manual depth input; supports saving multiple template depth points.
Hardness conversion, correction, and validity verification: converts Vickers hardness to HB, HR, etc.; corrects spherical/cylindrical sample measurements; validates test results.
Data statistics: automatically calculates mean, variance, Cp, Cpk.
Automatic warning: marks values exceeding upper or lower limits.
Test reports: generates WORD or EXCEL reports with hardness values, statistics, indentation images, and curves; supports user-defined formatting.
Data storage: original data and images stored in one document.
Knoop hardness & fracture toughness measurement mode available.
Additional functions: image capture, video acquisition, image processing, geometric measurement, annotation, album management, fixed-scale printing.

Applications
Steel, non-ferrous metals, foils, hard alloys, thin sheets, coatings, surface-hardened layers, carburized/nitrided/decarburized layers, microstructures, ceramics, glass, wafers, carbonized materials.
