CHVS-5Z Computerized Digital Vickers Hardness Tester

Product Description

CHVS-5Z Computerized Digital Vickers Hardness Tester integrates optics, mechanics, and electronics with a built-in industrial PC to provide stable loading, accurate measurement, and intelligent operation. The large display shows test force, indentation length, dwell time, hardness values, test counts, conversions, and timestamps. With a digital micrometer eyepiece, hardness values are calculated automatically without manual lookup. The system supports real-time data saving, curve plotting, max/min/average statistics, and optional CCD imaging for high-precision computer-based indentation measurement. It is ideal for testing metals, coatings, heat-treated layers, foils, and microstructures in laboratories and industrial QC environments.

Product Advantages

  1. Integrated industrial PC with fast processing and stable operation.

  2. Large LCD displays test method, force, diagonal length, hardness, dwell time, and statistics.

  3. Automatic turret allows quick switching between measure and observe modes.

  4. Closed-loop loading ensures high accuracy and excellent repeatability.

  5. Digital micrometer eyepiece eliminates manual hardness table lookup.

  6. Optional CCD imaging enables computer-based indentation observation and auto measurement.

  7. Supports single-point, multi-point measurement, hardness-depth curve plotting, and data comparison.

  8. Provides hardness conversion, curvature correction, statistical analysis, and over-range alarms.

  9. Cast-aluminum structure ensures stability and long-term durability.

  10. Automotive-grade coating provides scratch resistance and a lasting finish.

  11. Supports WORD/EXCEL report output including images, curves, and statistics.

  12. Dual-channel observation (eyepiece + CCD) ensures clear long-term viewing.

  13. Meets ISO 6507, ASTM E92, JIS Z2244 international standards.

  14. Supports both Vickers and Knoop hardness modes.

  15. Lifetime technical support and spare parts supply.

Software Features

  1. Hardening Curve: Allows users to manually input test point depths. The software automatically plots the hardening curve and calculates the case depth. For convenience, users can save multiple depth points to a template file for future use during testing.

  2. Hardness Value Conversion, Correction, and Validation: The system can convert measured micro-Vickers hardness values to other scales (e.g., HB, HR). It can apply corrections for measurements on spherical or cylindrical surfaces and validate the effectiveness of sample measurements.

  3. Data Statistics: Automatically calculates statistical values for measured hardness, including the mean, variance, Cp, and Cpk.

  4. Automatic Alarm: Automatically flags values that exceed the set upper or lower limits.

  5. Test Reports: Automatically generates test reports in Word or Excel format. Users can customize the report layout. Standard formats include individual hardness measurements, statistical values, indentation images, and the hardening curve.

  6. Data Saving: Original measurement data and images can be saved into a single document.

  7. Knoop Hardness & Fracture Toughness: The software can be configured for measuring Knoop hardness or fracture toughness.

  8. Other Functions: Includes general-purpose features such as image capture, video acquisition, image processing, geometric dimension measurement, document annotation, photo album management, and fixed-magnification printing.
