CHVS-50Z Computerized Digital Vickers Hardness Tester

Product Description

The CHVS-50Z Computerized Digital Vickers Hardness Tester integrates an industrial-grade computer, optical measurement system, and a motorized turret to achieve stable force loading, precise indentation measurement, and intelligent data processing. The LCD displays diagonal lengths, hardness values, dwell time, test force, and statistical results. With a digital micrometer eyepiece, the system eliminates manual hardness table lookup. Optional CCD imaging enables computer-based indentation measurement, multi-point testing, hardness-depth curve plotting, image saving, and report output. This model is suited for high-load Vickers testing applications on metals, heat-treated layers, coatings, thin materials, and microstructures.

CHVS-50Z Computerized Digital Vickers Hardness Tester

Product Advantages

  1. High-load system supports heavy-duty Vickers testing up to 50 kgf.

  2. Industrial computer ensures fast processing and stable long-term operation.

  3. Large LCD displays diagonal values, hardness, dwell time, and statistics.

  4. Digital micrometer eyepiece calculates hardness automatically.

  5. Automatic turret offers fast switching between objectives and indenter.

  6. Closed-loop control ensures accurate and repeatable load application.

  7. Optional CCD allows precise on-screen indentation measurement.

  8. Supports multi-point testing and hardness–depth curve analysis.

  9. Provides conversions among HV, HK, HBW and multiple Rockwell scales.

  10. Curvature correction enhances accuracy on cylindrical test pieces.

  11. Dual-language interface enhances usability in global environments.

  12. Real-time statistics show max/min/average/deviation.

  13. USB port supports fast data backup and exporting.

  14. Heavy-duty cast-aluminum frame ensures strong rigidity and durability.

  15. Automotive-grade paint offers scratch resistance and long-term protection.

  16. Complies with ISO 6507, ASTM E92, JIS Z2244 international standards.

  17. Supports WORD/EXCEL report output with indentation images and curves.

  18. Dual optical channels allow comfortable long-term observation.

  19. Supports both Vickers and Knoop hardness modes.

Software Features

  1. Hardening Curve: Allows users to manually input test point depths. The software automatically plots the hardening curve and calculates the case depth. For convenience, users can save multiple depth points to a template file for future use during testing.

  2. Hardness Value Conversion, Correction, and Validation: The system can convert measured micro-Vickers hardness values to other scales (e.g., HB, HR). It can apply corrections for measurements on spherical or cylindrical surfaces and validate the effectiveness of sample measurements.

  3. Data Statistics: Automatically calculates statistical values for measured hardness, including the mean, variance, Cp, and Cpk.

  4. Automatic Alarm: Automatically flags values that exceed the set upper or lower limits.

  5. Test Reports: Automatically generates test reports in Word or Excel format. Users can customize the report layout. Standard formats include individual hardness measurements, statistical values, indentation images, and the hardening curve.

  6. Data Saving: Original measurement data and images can be saved into a single document.

  7. Knoop Hardness & Fracture Toughness: The software can be configured for measuring Knoop hardness or fracture toughness.

  8. Other Functions: Includes general-purpose features such as image capture, video acquisition, image processing, geometric dimension measurement, document annotation, photo album management, and fixed-magnification printing.
