Precision Granite Surface Plate
● Natural stone does not degrade or undergo dimensional changes over time. ● The most notable characteristic of granite surface plates: Their hardness is twice that of cast iron. ● Since granite surface plates are harder, have a finer grain, and are more brittle than cast iron, if scratched, they do not develop burrs or raised edges. (See Figure 1) This ensures extremely high flatness with no risk of damaging instruments or workpieces. ● It should be used in a stable temperature environment. Due to flatness errors caused by temperature differences between the upper and rear surfaces, avoid use in direct sunlight. Additionally, do not place it near air conditioners or similar equipment. Recommended operating environment: Temperature 20±1°C, Humidity 58±2%.
